Advanced Engineering

A great reminder of a great exhibition and we look forward to exhibiting there again in the years to come. We gained a lot of new contacts, some of which have already converted to new clients.

FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards

We are delighted to have received an email from the FSB informing us that we have been nominated for the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards. Not only that but we’ve made the finals! We are a finalist in the ‘Business & Product Innovation Award’ category and are absolutely thrilled!

Could this be another award win for CNC? We’ll have to wait and find out! The awards luncheon is on the 5th April and we’ll let you know how we get on. Good luck to all the other finalists and see you on the 5th April!

The first East of England FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards in 2018 were a fantastic success – and our aim is to make 2019 even better.

Whatever your business and whatever sector it is in we are sure there will be at least one category for you to enter.  If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend our grand final at Newmarket Racecourse in April and if you win a prize there you could be heading for our glittering UK finals in London later in the Spring.

We already know that the East of England boasts some of the best and most innovative small and micro businesses in the UK and we are now looking to find the ‘best of the best’ and reward the hard work and innovation that characterises the SME community in this lovely part of the world.

Business and Industry Today

Thank you to Business and Industry Today who ran this article on us in their pages. The article gives some background on CNC, what we do and who we work with. It also mentions Tim’s recognition as Business Person of the Year and reveals that we’ll be back at the Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC this October. You read it here first!

Hunts Post Business Awards 2018

Well we all dressed up in our black ties and went along to the Hunts Post Business Awards recently. Tim, our MD, was up for Business Person of the Year and whilst the meal was fabulous and we all enjoyed meeting the other finalists we were biting our nails as the awards were announced. Then, it was Tim’s category…… and he won!

We are still beyond thrilled and over the moon about it. This has been a fabulous year – hard work but fabulous and we felt that Tim really, really deserved this award and the recognition that he is, in fact, a pretty brilliant boss and businessman. What did Tim say about winning the award? He said, “It feels so good to win this award. Not only myself but my whole team have worked really hard over the past three years to make sure that we do the best that we can and it’s amazing to be recognised. This award isn’t just for me, but the whole team as I couldn’t have done it without them.”

Thanks Tim. Lovely words and a great sentiment but enjoy your award Business Person of the Year! Huge congratulations to Tim… now, what’s next?! Keep them peeled! This is just the start!

CNC Software Company of the Month
